Raw Pizza Cheeze Sauce
This sauce is so good that I always double the portion
every time I make it. Also freezes well.
1 Cup water
1/2 cup raw Cashews
¼ cup raw almonds
1 Tbsp tahini (ground roasted sesame seeds)
3 Tbsp savoury yeast (also called nutritional yeast)
1.5 tsp salt (more or less depending on preference)
¼ tsp garlic powder
Juice of 1/2 a lemon (more or less depending on preference)
1-2 tsp honey
2 Tbsp capsicum & eggplant spreed (or 1 red capsicum)
1/2 tsp xanthan gum (this helps to thicken and make it a little gooey)
Blend all ingredients together until super smooth. Will thicken more the longer you blend it.
Drizzle over raw pizza or in a sandwich.
Note: Keeps in fridge for up to 1 week.
