Creamy Spicach Smoothie

This is Super Delicious and Creamy, my kids love it! You cannot taste the greens at all..

Ingredients:

1 cup of water & a few ice cubes (to keep smoothie cool)

½ Cup Soy Milk (or water & 10 raw almonds)

½-1 peeled orange

1 Apple

7 pitted dates

1-2 Large handfuls spinach

2 Celery Stalks (no leaves)

3-4 Kale leaves destemmed

2-3 ripe bananas (fresh or frozen)


Method:

Place all ingredients in the following order listed except bananas, Blend for 30secs then add bananas blend until smooth.
Taste and adjust if necessary. If it is too thick add more water.. You can adjust any of these ingredients according to personal preference.

Note: This is the base for my standard green smoothie. I like to rotate the greens with Kale, Silver beet, bok choy, lettuce, etc on other days.

Please bear in mind that it is not recommended that fruit and vegetables should be mix together in one meal, which is why the traditional idea of mixing carrots, beetroot, etc with fruits in the one smoothie is not ideal for health.

But despite this, you can still have a fabulous and great tasting smoothie by simply replacing the Vegetables with greens/herbs instead, as is done in this recipe.
