Silky Smooth Green Smoothie



1/2 a handfull of fresh watercress

1 packed handfull of fresh Coriander/Cilantro

1 ripe banana

½ peeled red apple

1/3 cup Soy Milk (optional)

¼ cup water (if you don't use milk, use 1/2 cup water instead)

½-1 Tbsp honey (depending on taste)

5-6 ice cubes

Pinch Celtic sea salt


Place all ingredients into blender and process until smooth.
Taste and adjust to taste.

Note: You can also add 6-12 almonds to it for a more energy packed liquid food.

Please bear in mind that it is not recommended that fruit and vegetables should be mix together in one meal, which is why the traditional idea of mixing carrots, beetroot, etc with fruits in the one smoothie is not ideal for health.

But despite this, you can still have a fabulous and great tasting smoothie by simply replacing the Vegetables with greens/herbs instead, as is done in this recipe.
