This is seriously amazing!

Tastes much better than shop bought chilli sauce…

Ingredients:

1 Can (400g) Whole peeled Tomatoes or Diced Tomatoes

1 Red Capsicum, deseeded and roasted

½ -1 Tbsp dry Cayanne Pepper (Extra Hot variety, use more or less depending on hot

preference, I use 1 Tbsp)

¼ Cup Lemon Juice

¼ Cup Raw Sugar

1-2 Clove Garlic

2 tsp Onion Powder

1.5 tsp Garlic Powder

1 tsp Celtic Salt

1 Tbsp Vegan Fish Sauce (you can buy it here)

½ tsp Xanthan Gum (for thickening)

Method:

Add all ingredients except Xanthan Gum into a blender and blend until very smooth, taste and adjust if necessary.

Add Xanthan Gum and process for an extra 30 seconds.

Pour into a Jar and keep in the fridge. Due to the quantity of cayenne pepper used, this will be good for a few weeks kept in the fridge.

Note: In reality this chilli sauce looks a lot more red.
