Quick Vegan Cheeze 

that Slices & Melts

Totally Yummy, my kids couldn't stop licking
the spoons and pot after making it...
                         
                  

Ingredients:

1.5 cups soy milk

1 cup raw cashew nuts

1.5 Tbsp Lemon Juice

3 Tbsp Grapeseed Oil or Rice bran Oil

2 Tbsp Agar powder, mixed with ½ cup, stir to dissolve and set aside for 5-10mins

1 Tbsp Miso paste

½ tsp Garlic Powder

2.5 tsp Celtic sea salt

1/4 cup Savoury Yeast

A few dashes of turmeric  and or saffron for colour

 

Method:

  1. Add all ingredients into a blender and process until super smooth and creamy
  2. Pour into a medium size pot at med-high heat stirring constantly for about 4 minutes.
  3. Then turn down to medium-low heat stirring constantly until it thickens and firms up for about another 5-7mins.
  4. Once thickened turn off heat and pour into prepared moulds or containers quickly.
  5. Refrigerate for at least 1 hour to firm up and set before serving.
     
    Note: Keeps in the fridge for up to a week.
